Nicola Badolato is an Associate Professor in the Department of Arts at the University of Bologna. He holds a PhD in Musicology and Musical Heritage, a diploma in piano and harpsichord, and completed a post-doctoral fellowship at Yale University. His research focuses on musicology, particularly historical editions of operatic works and Baroque music studies.
Key professional roles include membership in the scientific committee of the 'MusicaMedia' series, editorial directorship of 'Musica Docta', and participation in the International Musicological Society.
