Professor Nicki Humble is a leading scholar at the School of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences at the University of Roehampton, specializing in 19th- and 20th-century literature with a focus on middlebrow fiction, food literature, women's writing, and children's literature. She has held academic positions since joining Roehampton full-time in 1992 after a visiting lecturer role in 1990, and was promoted to Professor in 2008.
