Nick Roseboro

Nick Roseboro is an Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Architecture Department at Barnard College and the Endowed Chair in Environmental Architecture and Sustainable Design at Sarah Lawrence College. He co-founded Architensions, an international research and design studio operating between Brooklyn and Rome, which investigates the commons and collectivity through cross-scalar projects including exhibitions, curatorial initiatives, and theoretical publications.

His educational background features a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Jazz and Contemporary Music from The New School and a Master of Science in Critical, Curatorial, and Conceptual Practices from Columbia University's Graduate School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation (GSAPP), establishing a foundation for interdisciplinary practice.

Roseboro's research redefines architectural production through three interconnected pillars: domesticity and housing systems (critiquing traditional frameworks like the 'American Dream'), labor-leisure tensions in digital society, and innovative public space creation across diverse geographies.
