Gillian Shaffer Lutsko

Gillian Shaffer Lutsko is a Lecturer at the University of Southern California's School of Architecture, serving as the Citizen Architect Fellow 2022-23. She leads the architecture studio sl Collective, focusing on design responses to contemporary challenges like climate crisis, identity evolution, economic disparity, and technological impacts. Her work has been exhibited at the Venice Biennale and Seoul International Biennale, supported by the National Endowment for the Arts. Currently teaching courses on architectural design, material systems, and design communication, she emphasizes hands-on material exploration and sustainable design principles.
