Nicholas V Longo is a Professor of Global Studies and Chair of the Global Studies department at Providence College. His research focuses on deliberative pedagogy, civic engagement, and the role of higher education in fostering democratic societies. He holds a Ph.D. in Global Studies and an M.P.A. from the University of Minnesota's Humphrey School of Public Affairs.
