Nicholas Muller is the Lester and Judith Lave Professor of Economics, Engineering, and Public Policy at Carnegie Mellon University's Tepper School of Business and Department of Engineering and Public Policy. He holds a PhD in Environmental and Natural Resource Economics from Yale University (2007), an MPA in Environmental Policy from Indiana University (2002), and a BS in Public Policy from the University of Oregon (1996). His interdisciplinary research focuses on environmental policy and economics, including air pollution damages, climate policy design, and the distributional impacts of environmental regulations. He has published in journals like the American Economic Review, Science, and Nature.
