معرفی
Nicholas Choo is a Research Fellow in the Department of Anatomy & Developmental Biology at Monash University. His research focuses on prostate cancer biology, epigenetic regulation, and drug development for advanced cancers. He leads projects such as 'Identifying new combination therapies with testosterone for advanced prostate cancer' (2024–2025) and collaborates on studies like 'Evaluating the biomechanical features of lethal prostate cancer' (2023–2024). His work contributes to UN Sustainable Development Goals related to health and innovation.
Key research areas include CDK9 inhibition in oncogenic pathways, neuroendocrine signaling suppression, and patient-derived model applications. He has published extensively on prostate cancer mechanisms, drug combinations, and biomarker discovery. Current projects emphasize combination therapies and mechanistic insights into treatment resistance.
Choo has secured funding as a Primary Chief Investigator and collaborator, demonstrating leadership in translational oncology research. His contributions bridge molecular mechanisms with clinical applications, aiming to improve therapeutic outcomes for prostate cancer patients.
