Neil Ellis is a Researcher at the Seafarers International Research Centre (SIRC) within Cardiff University's School of Social Sciences. He joined SIRC in 2003, initially working on global labor market databases. His current role focuses on seafarers' health and well-being, particularly examining healthcare access and occupational risks in cruise and cargo sectors. Ellis holds a BSc (Hons) in Psychology and Communication and an MPhil from the University of Wales Institute, Cardiff.
