Dr Lijun Tang is a Lecturer in International Shipping and Port Management at the Plymouth Business School, part of the Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Business at the University of Plymouth. His research focuses on sustainable shipping management, port logistics, maritime policy, and the human element in maritime industries, including labor rights and occupational health and safety. His work aligns with UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) related to decent work, sustainable infrastructure, and responsible consumption. Dr Tang’s teaching portfolio includes courses on maritime geography, port management, and green human resource practices. Research Interests: Dr Tang explores the intersection of technology, labor, and policy in maritime contexts. Key themes include:
