Neal McCollam is the Coordinator of Theatre Operations and Theatre Recruiting at UIC's School of Theatre and Music, where he also teaches acting and directs the College of Architecture and the Arts summer arts program. His professional experience includes acting with The Old World Theatre Company, European Repertory Theatre, and Pegasus Players, along with directing productions including Arthur Miller's 'Broken Glass' and 'All My Sons' at UIC Theatre.
Education: M.A. in Theatre from University of Illinois at Chicago, with additional training at National Theatre of Great Britain and Moscow Art Theatre.
Research Interests: McCollam's work explores contemporary theatre practice, avant-garde performance techniques (particularly Russian avant-garde), and pedagogical approaches to actor training. His directorial focus includes psychological dramas and experimental adaptations.
