Lee E. Ernst serves as a Teaching Professor in the Department of Theatre and Dance at the University of Delaware's College of Arts & Sciences, where he is a core member of the Resident Ensemble Players (REP) as both actor and director. His career spans decades of professional theatrical work integrated with academic instruction.
Ernst's artistic practice centers on Theatre, Acting, and Directing, with deep expertise in Shakespearean Drama and Contemporary Theatre. His performance history demonstrates exceptional range across classical and modern repertoires, including iconic roles in productions from Cyrano de Bergerac to CLYBOURNE PARK, reflecting his commitment to both textual fidelity and innovative staging.
