Nazar Khalid

Nazar Khalid is a fifth-year joint PhD candidate in Demography and Sociology at the University of Pennsylvania and a Research Fellow at r.i.c.e, a non-profit research organization focused on poverty alleviation in India. His work addresses social stratification, education, health, environmental policy, and social policy in South Asia. He has published in academic and policy journals and received the Inaugural Presidential PhD Fellowship in 2021.
