Amit Sarwal

Amit Sarwal is an Alfred Deakin Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Deakin University, Australia, affiliated with the Centre for Citizenship and Globalisation (CCG). He founded the Australia-India Interdisciplinary Research Network (AIIRN) and holds a PhD from Jawaharlal Nehru University (2010), alongside an MPhil (2006), MA (2004), and BA (2002) from Delhi institutions.

He co-edited influential volumes like Wanderings in India and Bollywood and Its Other(s), while journal articles explore spatial politics in migrant narratives and masculinity in diasporic fiction.
