Professor Naveed Sattar is a leading academic at the University of Glasgow, holding the title of Professor of Cardiometabolic Medicine and Honorary Consultant in Metabolic Medicine at Glasgow Royal Infirmary. His primary affiliations include the School of Cardiovascular and Metabolic Health and the BHF Glasgow Cardiovascular Research Centre.
He graduated from the University of Glasgow in 1990, completed a PhD in 1998, and has extensive clinical experience starting as a Senior House Officer in Edinburgh and Glasgow.
