Nathy Walsh

Nathy Walsh is a Lecturer in Financial Analysis, Quantitative Analysis, Marketing & Management at the Institute of Public Administration (IPA), specializing in Public Sector Financial Management, Governance, Audit, and related fields. She holds an MBA from Heriot Watt University, a Post Graduate Diploma in Critical Management from Lancaster University, and a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) from University College Galway.

As a senior academic, she coordinates the Doctorate in Governance program and serves as programme director for the MEconSc in Policy Analysis, MA in Public Sector Financial Management, and the Financial Management stream of the MSc in Business and Management. She also teaches audit, finance, and assurance modules on undergraduate and postgraduate courses, including the Bachelor of Business Studies programme.

Her international experience includes designing public management programs for governments in the Seychelles and Lesotho, and contributing to development projects for Irish and British governments, as well as the World Bank and European Commission in Cyprus and Bulgaria. She previously lectured at Trinity College Dublin and served as an external examiner for multiple academic and professional programs.

Nathy is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland (FCA) and a Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) finalist.
