Nathaniel Tetteh

Nathaniel Tetteh is a Lecturer in Employment Studies, specializing in Human Resource Management, Employment Relations & Law. He holds a PhD in Business Management from the University of Manchester (awarded 2020), an MSc in Human Resource Management and Industrial Relations from the University of Manchester (2013), and a BA in Business Management and Human Resource Management from the University of Keele (2012).

His research focuses on international labor standards, private regulation, multinational enterprises, and organized labor in Ghana. His recent work examines union engagement with private regulation in Ghanaian subsidiaries of multinational corporations (MNCs) and labor relations in transnational corporations.

Recent publications highlight trends in employment relations within multinational corporations operating in Ghana, with a focus on how international private regulation interacts with local labor dynamics. His work contributes to the Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) of Quality Education and Decent Work.

He is currently a Governor at Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust (since 2022) and an Eccles Councillor at Salford City Council (since 2021).
