Nathaniel Lee is the Lecturer of Trombone at the University of Virginia and serves as Principal Trombone of the Charlottesville Symphony at the University of Virginia. He is also an active performer and educator, maintaining a robust freelance career with engagements across major orchestras, opera companies, and music festivals in Virginia and beyond.

Nathaniel Lee specializes in trombone performance and brass pedagogy, with a strong emphasis on chamber music and orchestral training. His research and artistic interests extend to performance practice, brass ensemble development, and music education outreach.
