معرفی
Dr. Nathan R. Wall is an Associate Professor in multiple departments within the School of Medicine at Loma Linda University, including Surgery, Radiation Medicine, Basic Sciences, and Pathology and Human Anatomy. He holds a PhD from Wayne State University (2000).
Research Focus: Dr. Wall’s lab investigates the tumor microenvironment, particularly the role of exosomes and survivin in cancer therapy resistance and metastasis. Key areas include exosomal biomarkers, apoptosis regulation, and translational oncology. His work bridges clinical samples with in vitro models to address cancer disparities and therapy resistance.
Recent Contributions: Recent studies explore exosome-mediated signaling in glioblastoma, curcumin-based therapies, and miRNA roles in pancreatic cancer. His research emphasizes drug resistance mechanisms and novel biomarker identification.
Grants & Collaborations: Principal Investigator/Co-Investigator on NIH-funded grants (e.g., NIH-IMSD, NIMHD), and institutional awards like the LLU Seed Grant. Collaborates on exosome-based biodosimeters and cancer vaccine development.
Education: Teaches research-oriented courses (e.g., BCHM 697, IBGS 699) and mentors students in molecular biology and oncology. His work spans basic science to clinical translation, aiming to advance cancer diagnostics and therapies.
