Nathalie Subtil is an Associate Professor and Academic Director at NEOMA Business School, leading the Accounting, Control & Legal Affairs department. She specializes in the intersection of numerical representations, managerial responsibility, and organizational ethics. Her career began at Arthur Andersen, transitioning into academia while maintaining strong industry ties through audit sector collaborations.
Research focuses on how quantitative metrics influence managerial accountability, with emphasis on CSR reporting and auditing standards. She co-founded the Consulting and Auditing excellence program within NEOMA's Grande Ecole curriculum. Key partnerships include case study development with Centrale de Cas et de Médias Pédagogiques (CCMP).
Recent work addresses CSR expectation gaps between public perception and corporate practices, as well as the role of integrated reporting in restoring stakeholder trust. Teaching innovations include pioneering numerical literacy training for business students.
