Natasha Martin is a Professor of Law and Vice President for Diversity and Inclusion, holding dual roles in academia and institutional leadership. Her interdisciplinary research focuses on employment discrimination law, organizational culture, and critical race theory, emphasizing the inclusion of marginalized workers. She has served as Co-Chair of the university-wide Task Force on Diversity and Inclusive Excellence and previously as Associate Dean for Research and Faculty Development.
Education: B.S. (cum laude) from Xavier University of Louisiana (AT&T Merit Scholar) and J.D. from the University of Notre Dame (Notre Dame Scholar). She clerked for U.S. District Court Judge Clarence Cooper and is admitted to practice in Georgia and the U.S. District Court, Northern District of Georgia.
Professor Martin actively contributes to professional organizations, including the AALS Employment Discrimination Law Executive Committee, the Fred T. Korematsu Center for Law and Equality as a Research Fellow, and the Washington State Gender and Justice Commission. She teaches Employment Discrimination and Professional Responsibility, advocating for gender and racial equity in legal education and practice.
