Jeannette Cox is a Full-Time Professor of Law and the Samuel A. McCray Chair in Law at the University of Dayton School of Law. She specializes in disability law, employment discrimination, and civil procedure. Her research examines intersections between the Americans with Disabilities Act and traditional civil rights frameworks, with publications in leading law reviews such as the Georgetown Law Journal and Florida Law Review. Professor Cox teaches courses including Disability Law, Employment Discrimination, and Statutory Interpretation. She advises the Law Review, Disability Law Association, and People's Parity Project chapters. Previously, she clerked for Judge Diarmuid F. O’Scannlain on the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals and held a visiting professorship at Notre Dame Law School. She earned her J.D. summa cum laude from Notre Dame Law School, where she received the Dean Joseph O’Meara Award for Academic Excellence.
