Natalia Chemas is a Doctoral Research Fellow at the Wolfson Institute of Population Health, Queen Mary University of London. She holds a BSc in Psychology from Colombia and an MSc in Mental Health Sciences from University College London, both emphasizing research and neuroscience. Her fellowship is funded by the National Institute of Health Research.
Her research focuses on dementia, specifically the diagnostic validity of Alzheimer’s disease blood biomarkers in ethnic minority groups and the acceptability of these diagnostic methods within such communities. She collaborates with Prof Charles Marshall, Prof Claudia Cooper (QMUL), and Dr Ashvini Keshavan (UCL).
