Lucie Hogger

Lucie Hogger is an NIHR Clinical Doctoral Research Fellow at Queen Mary University of London (QMUL), affiliated with the Wolfson Institute of Population Health and the Centre for Primary Care. Her research focuses on interactions between people with dementia and their informal carers, particularly around medicines management at home, employing linguistic ethnographic and participatory approaches. She holds a background in Speech and Language Therapy (HCPC registered) and maintains an honorary role with Whittington NHS Trust.

Research Interests: Dementia care, healthcare communication dynamics, and qualitative methods including ethnography and participatory research. Her work bridges clinical practice and academic inquiry, addressing atypical communication challenges in healthcare settings.

Affiliations: Wolfson Institute of Population Health, Centre for Primary Care, and NIHR School for Primary Care Research. She also collaborates with Whittington NHS Trust in her clinical capacity.
