Jessica Budgett is a Programme Manager and Research Fellow at Queen Mary University of London, affiliated with the Wolfson Institute of Population Health and the Centre for Psychiatry and Mental Health. She holds a part-time PhD at University College London (UCL), focusing on personalized outcome measures in dementia care. Her research centers on non-pharmaceutical interventions for dementia patients, family caregiver support, and implementation science. She leads the NIDUS-Family support programme implementation study funded by NIHR, and coordinates research seminars at the Unit for Psychological Medicine.
Education: Currently completing a part-time PhD at UCL (Department of Psychiatry), with prior experience at UCL's Department of Psychiatry.

- Psychosocial interventions for dementia
- Goal attainment scaling methodologies
- Health service implementation strategies
- Family carer support systems
Her publications emphasize personalized goals in dementia care, systematic reviews of outcome measures, and telehealth applications. She manages a team including three research assistants, a PhD student, and a postdoctoral associate.
Labs/Teams: Core member of the Alzheimer’s Society QMUL Centre of Excellence for Independence at Home, leading the NIDUS programme.
