Dr. Nancy Raitano Lee is an Associate Professor and Director of the Clinical Neuropsychology Major at Drexel University's Department of Psychological and Brain Sciences. She holds a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Denver (2006), an M.S. from the University of Denver (2002), and a B.S. from Cornell University (1997). Her research investigates neurodevelopmental disorders including Down syndrome and autism spectrum disorder, with emphasis on executive functioning, neural correlates, and vocational outcomes across the lifespan.
Dr. Lee's work utilizes functional near-infrared spectroscopy (fNIRS) to examine brain-behavior relationships and develops assessment tools for cognitive profiles in genetic disorders. Her publications consistently address functional life skills and developmental trajectories from childhood through adulthood.
She mentors graduate and undergraduate researchers in the LADDER Lab, focusing on neurocognitive phenotypes and adaptive functioning. Her collaborative projects include work with the AJ Drexel Autism Institute on health outcomes in autistic adults.
