Dr. Nancy Johnson is an Accounting Lecturer at Meredith College's School of Business, specializing in teaching and curriculum development across online, hybrid, and traditional formats. She brings over 20 years of financial services experience as an analyst, project manager, and equity trader, alongside 15 years as a corporate financial acumen consultant. Her academic credentials include a D.B.A. in Business Economics and Finance from Saint Mary’s University of Minneapolis, an M.B.A. from Augsburg University, and multiple accounting certifications.
Research focuses include experiential learning integration, financial acumen development for professionals and K-12 students, and innovative instructional design. Notable presentations include collaborations with journalism programs (MBAA 2023) and studies on online education effectiveness (MBAA 2017). She received the Harry and Marion Eberly Faculty Development Award in 2025, recognizing her contributions to pedagogical innovation.
