Tara Saracina is an Associate Professor of Accounting at the School of Business, Claflin University, with a career spanning over 15 years in higher education. She has served in administrative roles as Department Chair and Interim Dean, and holds a D.B.A. in Business Administration with a focus on Accounting Information Systems (AIS) from Nova Southeastern University.

Her research interests center on the effectiveness of AIS education in workforce preparation and the impact of smart technologies on small business accounting practices.
