Nancy C. Kraybill is a Professor of Law at Drexel University's Kline School of Law where she directs the Academic Skills program and serves as faculty adviser to the Alternative Dispute Resolution Team. She has extensive professional experience in mediation, arbitration, and clinical legal education.
Her research interests focus on:
- Mediation techniques and best practices
- Arbitration processes and procedures
- Alternative Dispute Resolution education and training methodologies
- Negotiation strategies in legal contexts
- Conflict resolution in institutional settings
- Legal analysis and bar examination preparation
Professor Kraybill has received significant recognition for her contributions to the legal field:
- Chancellor's Award from the Philadelphia Bar Association and the Volunteers for the Indigent Program (2001)
- Distinguished advocate in the Moot Court Honors Program at UCLA
Under her guidance, student teams have achieved notable success including second place at the ABA Regional Client Counseling Competition and winning the ABA Regional Negotiation Competition. She previously served as a clinical supervisor and lecturer at the University of Pennsylvania Law School and continues to contribute as an adjunct professor at LaSalle University's Graduate Certificate Program in Negotiation and Conflict Resolution. Her professional experience spans both practical mediation work with the EEOC and Philadelphia courts, as well as significant legal practice in Los Angeles before transitioning to legal education.
