معرفی
Nadine MILLot is a Professor in the Nanosciences Department at the University of Bourgogne Franche-Comté, where she serves as Deputy Director of the ICB Lab. She is actively involved in academic governance as an elected member of the Research Council and Academic Council of the University of Burgundy since 2020, and of the University of Bourgogne Franche-Comté since 2020.
Dr. MILLot's research focuses on the synthesis and application of nanomaterials, particularly (Bio-)hybrid nanoparticles & BH2N nanostructures. She founded the Research Team (Bio-)hybrid nanoparticles & nanostructures BH2N, establishing herself as a leader in nanomaterials research with biomedical applications.
Her primary research areas include the development of SuperParamagnetic Iron Oxide Nanoparticles (SPIONs) for multimodal imaging applications (MRI/PET and MRI/optical imaging) and Titanate nanotubes (TiONts) for DNA transfection and tumor radiosensitizing. Her approach to nanomaterials emphasizes precise control over morphology, size distribution, interface nature, and stoichiometry.
Dr. MILLot holds several significant administrative positions:
- Deputy Director of ICB Lab
- Member of steering committees for C'Nano Grand-Est (since 2018) and C'Nano France (since 2018)
- Selection Committee Chair for Chemistry of the University of Burgundy
- Member of scientific committee of GIS Pharmaco-Imagery (since 2016)
- Member of BFCare cluster (since 2008)
- Expert for ANR agency and FRS-FNRS (Belgium)
Her career shows a strategic evolution from fundamental nanomaterials research before 2007 to pioneering bioapplications of nanopowders after her habilitation, demonstrating her ability to translate basic science into biomedical innovations.
