معرفی
Guy Millot is a Full Professor in Physics at the University of Burgundy, France, since 1994. He is the founder and leader of the Solitons group (SLCO) at the ICB Laboratory, which currently has 34 members.
- Current Positions: Full Professor (1994–present), Founder and Leader of SLCO group (1998–present)
- Previous Roles: Deputy Director of ICB Laboratory (2012–2017), Founder and Director of Optics Department at ICB (2007–2011)
His research expertise lies in photonics, nonlinear optics, and quantum optics, with a focus on soliton dynamics in optical systems. He has contributed to interdisciplinary projects such as CO2M (Design, Optimization, and Modeling in Mechanics) and PMDM (Metallurgical Processes Sustainability, Materials). His work bridges fundamental and applied physics, particularly in optical fiber communications and nanophotonics.
Academic affiliations include the ICB Laboratory (UMR CNRS 6303), where he has held leadership roles. He collaborates internationally, with invited professorships at institutions like Max Planck Institute of Quantum Optics (MPQ) and University of Brescia.
