Nadiah Ahmad is a Lecturer (Education Focused) at Monash University Malaysia's Malaysia School of Pathways & Immersion. She coordinates fieldwork-based academic units and contributes to the Global Challenges Research Fund (GCRF) South-South Migration, Inequality and Development Hub funded by UKRI. Her PhD (2021) examined gender mainstreaming strategies in Indonesian rural development programs.
Education: PhD in International Studies from Monash University Malaysia (2016–2021). Research focuses on social inequalities, policy analysis, and Southeast Asian governance, with expertise in UN Sustainable Development Goals related to gender and community development.
Key research areas include transnational migration dynamics, postcolonial epistemologies in education, and gender policy efficacy. She has published on topics ranging from Nepali migrant care networks to colonial knowledge systems in universities.
