Nadia Latif is a Visiting Assistant Professor of Anthropology at Mount Holyoke College, affiliated with the Department of Sociology and Anthropology. Her research and teaching explore intersections of forced migration, human rights, and socio-political transformations in post-conflict settings.

Her scholarly work spans urban anthropology, labor migration, gender dynamics in conflict zones, and the historical evolution of anthropological methodologies. Current research investigates local political economies within long-term refugee camps, focusing on how war, humanitarian aid, labor migration, and remittances shape these spaces.
Latif conducts extended fieldwork in Burj al-Barajneh camp, Lebanon, examining grassroots socio-economic structures emerging in protracted displacement contexts.
