Márta Radó

Márta Radó is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Medical Epidemiology and Biostatistics, Karolinska Institutet. Her research focuses on causality, demography, health behavior, social network analysis, and health inequalities. She has held positions at institutions including Erasmus Medical Center, Linköping University, and the Hungarian Academy of Sciences.

Her work integrates genetically informative family designs and social network methods to study environmental determinants of health. Recent projects include evaluating policy interventions and fertility trends using linked administrative data. She has received fellowships such as the Sasakawa Young Leader Fellowship and ERSTE Foundation Fellowship for Social Research.

Her publications span epidemiology, public health, tobacco control, and social determinants of health, with a focus on health policy evaluation and global health equity.
