Marta Rado

Dr. Marta Rado is a Visiting Senior Lecturer at Linköping University's Department of Management and Engineering. Her research focuses on social determinants of health, particularly socioeconomic inequalities in smoking and drinking behaviors during adolescence. She investigates how social network structures influence health behaviors across different socioeconomic groups.

Her current project examines nicotine product diffusion through social networks and its impact on youth usage patterns both online and offline. Methodologically, Dr. Rado employs longitudinal ecological studies and synthetic control methods to evaluate public health interventions like smoke-free legislation.
