Mutlu Cukurova

Mutlu Cukurova is a Professor of Learning and Artificial Intelligence at University College London (UCL), affiliated with the UCL Institute of Education (IOE) and the UCL Knowledge Lab. He directs the UCLAIT lab, manages large-scale research projects, and leads the 'Design and Use of AI in Education' module in UCL's MA Education and Technology programme. His PhD in Learning Sciences was completed at the University of York.

His research focuses on human-AI complementarity in education, computational modeling of collaborative learning, and multimodal analytics. Key themes include:
