Assoc. Prof. Murat Kaya is an academic in the Department of Hadith at Bingöl University's Faculty of Islamic Sciences. He holds a PhD from Yüzüncü Yıl University focusing on fabricated hadith in Sufi literature. His career includes 14 years as a teacher before joining Bingöl University in 2016. He teaches courses like Hadith I-VI and History of Hadith, and has supervised 7 master's theses.
