Goran Muić is a mathematician affiliated with the University of Zagreb, where he has served as a Professor since 2007. His research focuses on automorphic forms, representation theory, and the Langlands program, with contributions to non-commutative harmonic analysis and modular forms. He has held positions at institutions including the Erwin Schroedinger Institute (Senior Research Fellow, 2008-2009), Humboldt University (Humboldt Fellow, 2005/06), and the University of Utah (Burgess Instructor, 1997-2000).
- Education: Ph.D. in Mathematics (University of Zagreb, 1997); M.Sc. (1996); B.Sc. (1993).
Muić has organized major research programs at the Erwin Schroedinger Institute and served as Chairman of the Department of Mathematics at the University of Zagreb. He has delivered over 40 invited lectures globally and is an editor of Glasnik Matematički.
