Muhammad Fajri Romdhoni

Muhammad Fajri Romdhoni is an Indonesian registered architect currently pursuing his PhD at the University of Kansas School of Architecture and Design under the Fulbright Scholarship. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Architecture from Parahyangan Catholic University, an Engineering Master's degree from Bandung Institute of Technology, and a Master of Arts in Architecture from the University of Kansas. While completing his doctoral studies, he maintains a teaching position at the University of Sriwijaya in Palembang, Indonesia.

His research focuses on urban morphology, particularly examining Indonesian cities through digital spatial analysis. Romdhoni specializes in applying GIS technology, Python programming, and volunteered geographic information (including OpenStreetMap) to study urban form, street patterns, and spatial layout in Indonesian cities. His work has significant implications for understanding the development of the new Indonesian capital and addressing urban challenges in rapidly growing Indonesian metropolitan areas.

Romdhoni's publications demonstrate a consistent research trajectory examining urban geometry, population density modeling, historical placemaking, and street network analysis, primarily focused on Indonesian cities like Palembang and Yogyakarta.
