Muhammad Ayat

Muhammad Ayat is a Lecturer in Engineering/Project Management at the University of the West of Scotland (UWS), part of the School of Computing, Engineering and Physical Sciences. He previously served as a Lecturer at Dawood University of Engineering and Technology and held roles in project monitoring and evaluation. He holds a PhD in Industrial Engineering from Hanyang University, an MEng from Sabanci University, and a BEng from Dawood University.

His research focuses on integrating engineering techniques with project management, particularly in areas such as Private Participation in Infrastructure (PPI) Projects, Machine Learning Applications in Project Management, and Competency Development for Industry 4.0 and Circular Economy. He has received prestigious awards including the APM Doctorate of the Year Award 2023 and the Best PhD Thesis Award from Hanyang University.

Awards include scholarships from the Korean Government and Pakistan’s Higher Education Commission, reflecting his academic and professional achievements.
