Mridula Shankar

Dr. Mridula Shankar is a Research Fellow specializing in Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights at the Nossal Institute for Global Health, part of the Melbourne School of Population and Global Health at the University of Melbourne.

Her research examines:

• Gender disparities in healthcare
• Structural barriers to health equity
• Reproductive health measurement methodologies
• Maternal health outcomes

She co-teaches the graduate course 'Gender and Health' and leads the AIM-Gender study investigating barriers to pregnant women's participation in clinical trials.
