Ana Langer

Dr. Ana Langer is a Professor of the Practice of Public Health at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health (since 2010), leading the Women and Health Initiative (W&HI). Her work focuses on reproductive and maternal health, translating evidence into global health policies, and improving healthcare quality for women and families. She teaches courses on global sexual and reproductive health (GHP 231) and maternal health field experiences (GHP 547). Her research addresses maternal mortality, unsafe abortion, and strategies to strengthen reproductive rights. Dr. Langer collaborates internationally, including leading the INTERCOVID study on maternal-neonatal outcomes during the pandemic. She co-founded the LEAD fellowship to train global health leaders from low- and middle-income countries.
