Morgan Thomas

Morgan Thomas is a Lecturer in Acting at the School of Arts, University of the West of England (UWE Bristol). He holds a BA (Hons) in Drama from USW/RWCMD (2009) and a Postgraduate Certificate in Higher Education Theory and Practice (2021), with Associate Fellow status at the Higher Education Academy (AFHEA). With a professional background spanning theatre since 2009, Morgan has worked as an actor, director, movement director, and tutor for organizations including Frantic Assembly, Punchdrunk, and Hijinx Theatre.

His research explores inclusive performance methodologies, with key interests in:

• Neurodiverse and inclusive theatre practices
• Digital theatre innovations
• Immersive audience experiences

At UWE Bristol, he leads modules in Acting for Stage (Level 5) and Introduction to Acting (Level 4), integrating professional techniques like Meisner, Augusto Boal, and Perdekamp Emotional Method into pedagogy.
