Morgan Mattingly is a Research Fellow at Queen's University Belfast, affiliated with the School of Social Sciences, Education and Social Work and collaboratively with the School of History, Anthropology, Philosophy and Politics. As a Horizon 2020 Marie Skłodowska-Curie early stage researcher and CITI-GENS Fellow, she leads the project 'Expanding & evolving education resources of refugees: from camp to resettlement', focusing on refugee education experiences and digital resource accessibility to bridge educational gaps and address the digital divide.
Her interdisciplinary research spans Refugee Education, Digital Divide, ESL instruction, E-learning platforms, Inclusion and Equity frameworks, Trauma Studies in educational contexts, the Capabilities Approach to human development, Education Policy analysis, and the relationship between education and Civic Participation/Integration outcomes. Her academic foundation integrates Communications theory, English Literature, and Conflict Transformation & Social Justice methodologies.
