Morela Hernandez

Morela Hernandez is the Ligia Ramirez de Reynolds Collegiate Professor of Public Policy at the Gerald R. Ford School of Public Policy and holds a courtesy appointment as Professor of Management and Organizations at the Ross School of Business, University of Michigan. Her research focuses on organizational behavior, leadership, diversity and inclusion, and ethical decision-making, with a particular emphasis on gender and racial inequality, intergenerational dynamics, and organizational resilience.

Her work addresses challenges such as political polarization in workplaces, strategies for inclusive leadership, and the psychological mechanisms behind imposter syndrome. She advocates for policies that promote equitable organizational practices and has contributed to frameworks on stewardship behavior and intergenerational decision-making.
