Prof. Monique Kilkenny is a Research Professor at Monash University’s Faculty of Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences, leading the Big Data, Epidemiology and Prevention (Stroke and Ageing Research) group. She holds affiliations with the Monash Health Victorian Heart Institute (VHI) and is a National Heart Foundation Future Leader Fellow (2022–2025). Her research focuses on stroke care quality, data linkage, and health services improvement, with a track record of over 170 publications and 42 grants. She has led national initiatives like the Australia and New Zealand Stroke Coding Working Group and co-leads the National Stroke Data Linkage Interest Group.
