Dr Muideen Olaiya is a Senior Research Fellow in the Stroke and Ageing Research Group at Monash University, specializing in cardiovascular disease epidemiology. He holds a MSc in Public Health from Taipei Medical University and a PhD in Epidemiology from Monash University. Prior to his PhD, he completed a prestigious NIH Visiting Fellowship (2017-2020), focusing on cardiometabolic risk factors in community settings.

Dr Olaiya has secured over $1.8M in competitive research funding and published >35 peer-reviewed articles in journals like Stroke and Neuroepidemiology. He currently leads projects such as the Love Your Brain digital stroke prevention platform and collaborates on intergenerational heart disease prevention in Nigeria.
