Monika Starowicz

Monika Starowicz is an Assistant Teacher at Prof. Roman Kalarus’s Poster Studio at the Academy of Fine Arts in Katowice. She holds two PhD degrees and specializes in printmaking, drawing, illustration, and poster design. Her work focuses on themes of women, including mythical, mystical, and romantic representations, prominently featured in her posters and drawings. She has exhibited nationally and internationally, including at the Polish Poster Biennial in Katowice, International Poster Biennial in Warsaw, and events in Japan, Russia, and Bulgaria. Born in Katowice in 1974, she graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in 2000 with a diploma in Fine Arts.
