Monica Rosenberg

Monica Rosenberg is an Associate Professor in the Department of Psychology at The University of Chicago, affiliated with the Committees on Computational Neuroscience and Neurobiology and the Institute for Mind and Biology. Her research focuses on attention mechanisms, brain activity patterns, and neuroimaging techniques. She holds a PhD and postdoctoral training from Yale University's Department of Psychology, following an undergraduate degree in cognitive neuroscience from Brown University.

Her work integrates behavioral studies, neuroimaging, and machine learning to explore how attention fluctuates over time and interacts with cognitive processes. Notably, she developed models predicting attention and cognition from resting-state MRI data, revealing insights into individual differences in focus and memory.
