Monica C. Higgins is the Kathleen McCartney Professor of Education Leadership at Harvard Graduate School of Education (HGSE). She holds degrees from Dartmouth College, Harvard University, and the Amos Tuck School of Business Administration. Her research focuses on leadership development, organizational change, and education reform, with emphasis on urban school districts and nonprofit organizations. Higgins has authored influential books including Career Imprints and Education Lead(her)ship, and contributes to initiatives like the Public Education Leadership Project and Scaling for Impact.
