Mona Morgan-Collins

Mona Morgan-Collins is a Lecturer (Assistant Professor) in Gender and Political Economy at King's College London. She holds a PhD from the London School of Economics and previously served as an Assistant Professor at Durham University, with postdoctoral fellowships at the University of Pennsylvania and LSE. Her research focuses on women’s suffrage, electoral politics, and historical political economy. She has held visiting positions at Harvard, Oxford, and the University of Pennsylvania.

Her research examines women’s political engagement post-suffrage in countries like the U.S., Norway, and Chile, with a focus on electoral systems and mobilization strategies. She has organized public events and contributed to blogs discussing women’s political participation in Pakistan and the UK. Her teaching includes courses on gender in political economy and democracies, earning teaching awards at LSE and Durham.
